Hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) is made by selective and well controlled hydrogenation af Nitrile rubber (NBR).

At high hydration (99%) where butadiene is almost completely transformed into saturated metylen chains a material is obtained, with excellent heat and ozone resistance while at the same time oil and fuel resistance persists.
Hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) fills a gap between nitrile rubber (NBR) and flourgummi (FPM) in many applications.

Hydrerat nitrilgummi (HNBR) tillverkas genom en selektiv och väl kontrollerad hydrering av NBR.
