Chloroprene rubber (CR) or polychlorprene is a synthetic rubber which contains of chlorbutadiene.
It is a common rubber material and are used in glue, hoses, belts, coated fabrics, cable sheatings, tires, seals and gaskets. Chloroprene rubber (CR) is resistant to oils and also have a certain flame resistance. The material is often also called neoprene which is a trademark of DuPont.
