Isoprene rubber (IR) is a synthetic natural rubber (Polyisoprene).
The characteristics are the same as for natural rubber but with slightly less likelyhood to crystallize which is positive for the low temperature characteristics. Isoprene rubber (IR) are used alone or sometimes it is mixtured with Natural rubber (NR).
